That was kinda my reaction too. Dude dropped some serious time and bank on that, damn. But he can't hook up some decent pizza?

To each his own. I know someone who considers Kraft mac n cheese the highest expression of the dish. Blows my mind.

I dropped him off a big casserole pan of awesomeness once, my way of emphatic disagreement. A proper cheese sauce (cheddar and havarti), then topped with bacon. Impressed his girl more than him, which feels better than the victory I was expecting honestly. That's deep mags for me. He ever gives me shit and I remind him (preferably with others standing nearby)

"Ay, remember now; your girl digs my sauce."
