We have a gray fox den on our land. The gray foxes are mostly nocturnal but we do occasionally catch them on camera in the day. We've never spotted one in person as they are very shy. We have a good idea where the den is but leave the area alone as we don't want to harass them. We don't have any red foxes.

Yesterday, I saw the fray fox in-person for the first time, very cute.

Never quite knew what to make of a Jewish woman playing a Latina character. Was one supposed to disapprove of that or not? (Thumbs through the "how to be woke" rule book)
Shrug, at any point in the future it should be presumed that intersections of heredity and language/culture occur. Not like anyone freaks out about an African American speaking English today.

Yeah, can't say I actually cared, myself, but I was slightly surprised to find she wasn't actually latina, and half-expected to hear complaints about that.

Fckn Border Collies...I love the breed...and would love to have one, but I can't keep up with the activity level they require.

Damn straight, thank you for being sensible about it. Too many people get working dogs and expect them to be house pets. They aren't meant for the city or the burbs, if you don't have a farm you have no business owning them imo. Ain't fair to the dog.

You get a border collie bored enough they'll go try to herd cars. Doesn't end well. Most livestock guardian breeds tend not to handle confined boredom well either; they want to work, find a vantage point, keep things safe.
