Pretty sure that's the biggest roosterfish I've seen someone land, regardless of tackle. Giant Bluefin are pelagic, these guys are inshore and sneaky, not nearly as delicious though. Closer to jacks I think. I tried like hell to catch them once in Panama. We slayed the marlin, sails and tuna for a week+, only ever hooked one rooster and never got him within 50ft of the boat. Like fighting a big grouper that thinks like a snook.
