That makes me so mad. Was at store last Thursday. Maybe every 3rd or 4th trip someone asks me to grab them something up high for them (I'm tall). This time it's an elderly couple and they're picking out food items from the frozen section. In their cart is nothing but budget frozen dinners. I handed her the 2 packs from the back of the top shelf, she examines them and pauses, then gives them back to me with a smile saying "maybe not, too much."

They looked so embarrassed, made me so angry. I did the 'sir you dropped this!' maneuver with a gift card when I caught up to them in a different isle, gave the guy a wink. Price gouging retirees makes me want to end a CEO.

Context appropriate though given the time frame error, but I don't think echoing Knoxville's own words is the faux pas you're making it out to be. That Norton appearance was the last thing I remembered of him, and not following Knoxville much at all is actually pretty commensurate with the interest I had in his show. Seems like a silly thing for you to be incensed about, but for all I know Jackass is near and dear to you.

Glad his tackle works now, but I still suspect all that abuse wasn't worth whatever he got paid.

Haha...something like this legit happened in my family. I was staying at my Grandma's house and found old war letters in a trunk in a storage room. I took them and when my mom picked them up, my grandma went in the other room to get my things. I asked my mom to read the letters to me while we were waiting. My mom started reading them out loud and read something like "The first thing I'm going to do on your return is suck...", then she stopped, read for about 30 seconds (with me going WHAT MOM? WHAT DID SHE SAY?).

My mom folded the letters up and quietly said "go put these back where you found them right now!" 😀
