Wat. I've never seen or heard of these, ever. And I've been a flora and fauna nut my entire life. Wow.


Now I know how a co-worker felt when I explained the pic she was looking at wasn't of humming birbs, but of diurnal moths.


Wow... I had to immediately Google that vid to see if it was a fake ... and apparently no it isn't!

Good news is that those puppies only LOOK like wasps with a particularly nasty sting.... they're considered "wasp-mimics" and from what I've read so far are harmless to people. (AND they eat spider egg sacs while in larval-stage)




I especially enjoyed #3.... made me think "dude looks like a lady" lol. 😛
