First lacrosse goal in the NHL

Finally it has happened in the NHL. Have had a few similar in the minors and IIHF but never the NHL. Scooping the puck like he did in a game is not easy, let alone finding the corner that quick.

Parrots are absolutely fascinating creatures. They're said to have intelligence close to a 5 year old human, can comprehend language and understand up to 200 words, have an appreciation for music, and can form complex relationships with human companions. Very cool animals!

True. My Congo African Gray really got into Didgeridoo music when i had it playing on youtube. It is absolutely fascinating watching her work out puzzles i give her

I thought high stick was above the waistline, which this seems to be...not to mention this is also at the goalie's head? How was that legal?

Professional hockey is shoulder height for high sticking.
For playing the puck (not a shot, away from net), it's shoulder height. For shots / deflections on net, you can't be touching the puck above the crossbar (4' high). Tucking it in under the bar is fine. Smacking the goalie slightly in the head was incidental. ;)
