I had to actually look this up to confirm it was true and yes, 7% of American adults think that chocolate milk comes from brown cows. I'm not sure if I should laugh or cry now...

Edit: Damn, it gets worse. 25% of Americans think that the Sun revolves around the Earth. Roughly the same amount don't know that the US gained independence from Britain. Now I am definitely sad.
