Looks like a PT Cruiser to me, but not 100%. My father thought about doing the same to a Pinto station wagon when I was a kid. He also fabricated motor mounts that he swore would allow him to drop a 351 Cleveland motor into the thing. He is a pretty gifted machinist and mechanic, but he never finish that particular project. I think he asked himself the question "why?" and abandoned the project.

PT cruiser grafted onto a real 4x4, it’s actually a somewhat reasonable plan if you have a decent truck with a rusted out body and a non-running PT cruiser. And a welder, a lot of beer, and nothing better to do.
