Though I have to side with Sanders over Trump on the spending, that is a bad example. I'd probably take the katana. >.>
There should be another zero on there to represent the % of our national budget against a normal 100k income.

I can have a pretty badass bag of groceries for $75

When was the last time you went grocery shopping? It might be full if you fill it with ramen, but it is going to be far from badass.

Sad thing is around a decade ago I made big cuts to my food spending and just ate ramen for a month so I could scrounge up enough money for the Luke Skywalker episode 6 Force FX lightsaber I saw demoed at a FYE. After seeing it and holding it, I had to have it. :( And I make no apologies.

Uh.. sure, it's not a picture of the literal big bang, but it's evidence all the same. The CMB is a direct result of the big bang.
