dafuq am I looking at?
Cricket, and a lucky batsman.

To be out in cricket you're either caught, or the bails (The two things that lit up in the gif) has to come off the stumps. In this case, the ball hit the wicket and one of the bails lifted off of the stumps but fell back onto it.

They sure were running scared at the end. What were they scared of? All you skaters out there, why run? Chicken, that is why. Have some balls and call the police. Let the office determine who is more wrong.

But running like pussies is too much of an indictment of how scared they were.

tldr

get off my lawn?

I still have no idea what's going on.

Roughly the same odds as either of these happening in baseball:

Situationally, it would be like the second video, but with a ball flying through a catcher's mitt on a third strike foul tip.

Yeah I'm still confused but I just watched a British movie so I think I get it. Basically the guy with the bat is a beater and he keeps the quaffle away from the seeker who tries to get the snitch. If the seeker gets the snitch then they get 150 points and sex from slutty witches. Usually gryffindor wins.

Pretty sure that's accurate.

That still means nothing to me.

So basically he nicked it.

And this is a big deal?

Ball hit the wicket so he should be technically out, but since the bails did not fall out he's not out.

Bails have motion sensing lights, so you can see they light up, that mean they moved, which mean the ball hit the wicket, which mean he should be out, BUT, since they bails didn't actually fall off, he's not out. A big rarity in the game, that the big deal.

If you still don't get it, just forget about it, let it go, it's something from the other side of the pond, no big deal...

I can't tell if it's the same person from different angles, or the second one is the play in reverse or what.

...and I am still just as confused as I was upon my initial watch of that gif.

Seriously, fuck cricket. The made-up satirical sport from Futurama was less stupid.

Oh look, captain shit-on-everything is here to shit on yet another thing.

Must be a day that ends in "y".
