The industry is still going strong. There are a lot of facets and I'm not knowledgeable about all of it but I can tell you how we operate. We are a tiny studio with 10 full time employees. Six of them are AV related, one financial expert, one male talent expert, one female talent expert (me), and the receptionist. We get contracts from publishers and distributors for scenes usually based on action content, sometimes based on talent. We are paid a one time fee and turn over the rights to the content, what they do with it and make off it is on their heads. That also means they have to fight the pirates, not us. Our reputation is mostly for single cut, 3 angle scenes meaning we don't film the money shot first and fill in up front. Our primary office is in a college town so we get a lot of first/one time 18-20 year old girls. We do not sign anyone to any contracts beyond the scenes they are hired for. Average pay is 10k for women, 10k for gay men, and 1k for straight men and takes about an hour to shoot. They have to sign away all rights to the content, obviously.

Well, as John said, she's not a babe and thus doesn't belong in the babe thread.

There are no implant scars that are acceptable. You must have missed my analogy. Her applying for porn is like a blind man applying to be an airline pilot. It's absurd.
