Likely the fact that chlorinated tap water was made to be hot. Who knows how cool they let it get before pouring it on. But regardless of temp it was still tap.


A proper study would have been setup like this:

- 2 plants, each getting room temperature purified water.
- 2 plants, each getting room temperature tap water.
- 2 plants, each getting cooled microwaved purified water.
- 2 plants, each getting cooled microwaved tap water.

My sister basically did that when she was ~6th grade. Except instead of microwaved she used rain water. Idea was that rain water was polluted. It was, but barely had an affect.

This was during the "acid rain" hysteria sometime in the 80's

I feel so bad for people who's cognitive ability is this bad.

This includes the annotator of the video. The tank is likely in the center of the vehicle. It's the fuel fill port and not the tank they meant. Also the problem the driver is having is likely one of lack of spacial awareness and not memory. She doesn't seem to know HOW to position the vehicle to achieve what she wants. Btw in most fuel stations here the hose is long enough to reach the other side of the vehicle for that reason. Though it appears that video may be taken in a different country than the one I reside in, so that may or may not apply there.

I was driving a project 1965 Chrysler Newport a few years ago and always had a good laugh watching people doing this.Access to the gas tank on the Newport was under the license plate on the rear.Always loved the look i got when i fueled up.:p

I remember someone somehow busted off the gas line at a station and drove right on off down the street with it in their tank still.:) So funny.

Look closely at the end: you can see the gas tank door flip open on the side, not the rear.

And I've never seen a hose long enough to reach the other side of a car. And while I haven't filled up in all 50 states, I have been to a few. ;)

Eh... the first is rather common and normal in certain parts of society (and we aren't going to get an argument about that one!), and the second is not permanent.

A tattoo on a baby's forearm takes the cake, imho. It could be a joke, it could be something potentially important too, like medical information, a tattoo-type dermal implant (with mark to identify location?), or some other non-art marking. I would hope.
