I was wondering if you meant that.
That's no "slingshot"! They simply hoist you up high on one end, drop you, and let the tethering and anchoring points serve as a giant swing. You go up, drop in a parabolic arc close to the ground and rise up high opposite your drop point, and swing around for a little while.
It's a fucking blast! I've done it exactly once. I'd do it again, except, like everything in Challenge Park, it's additional money. It's a goddamn ripoff too. I think it was like $15-20 a ride, and that's per person if you go in a three-person ride. It costs more per person for two and one-man rides.
It's a great rush - but... considering tickets for the park are about $40, I don't like the price for the ride.
If I had a season pass and used it frequently, I'd probably get on the ripcord once a year because it is definitely a blast.
