Wow, that girl is AWESOME. It cut off before the end though. The perp's friend came back on that bike and came at her.

So enlighten us, oh great one, on how this is proven to be not real. We'd all like to know.

Maybe the exaggerated wrestler "moves" when she's obscured from the camera? Not sure, though...because the rest looks real. Could be an affluent area of Brazil or something.

This method of purse snatching is popular in many areas. The biker lets the runner off and circles around. The runner quickly snatches a purse and runs back to the biker.

Learn to use google yourself Fritzo, you'll look less stupid. Not intelligent of course, just less stupid.

1) An intelligent person would wonder how the woman so easily overpowered a man in a helmet by going after the head and upper body rather than the legs.
2) An intelligent person would question the moves of the guy still on the bike. Why did he leave for a purse snatch if he was the getaway? If he was supposed to leave and the snatcher get away on his own why did he come back?
3) An intelligent person would notice how conveniently the giant grill blocked things.
4) An intelligent person would see obviously choreographed moves by both the snatcher and the snatchee.
5) An intelligent person would know the source often passes off fakes as real.
6) An intelligent person who has owned a computer with an internet connection for longer than 20 seconds would view EVERY video of that nature as fake until proven otherwise.
7) An intelligent person would find this link dumbass: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=258562284296108

People who believe that's real don't deserve to own computers.

To the expectations of some, and to the dismay of others, I've partly solved the question, regarding whether or not it's a real video.

Oh, it's real alright. A real reenactment of a scenario that may or may not have actually occurred.
Seriously - I cannot find any hint if it's an actual reenactment, in the way we understand the word... or if, when they cite reenactment of a scenario, if they mean it's essentially just actors playing out a scenario that people are warned about.

It's basically about learning martial arts self defense moves to protect yourself. The scenario in question, according to the one link below, is people getting assaulted/robbed in similar fashion on their own property.

edit:
probably should have refreshed the page while I was googling and researching.

Why are you so angry? Did an internet noob touch you when you were a boy? Show me on the doll where the noob touched you.

Fritzo asked to be enlightened. He was. If he wants me to pat him on the head, hand him a cookie and tell him he's a good little boy he should ask for that instead. He posted a video anyone should know was fake and when called on it he resorted to name-calling rather than manning up. So he got smacked, he'll live.

Stay angry, but to answer:

1) An intelligent person would wonder how the woman so easily overpowered a man in a helmet by going after the head and upper body rather than the legs.

A helmet is not going to help with the upper body. Most people don't know how to attack low.

2) An intelligent person would question the moves of the guy still on the bike. Why did he leave for a purse snatch if he was the getaway? If he was supposed to leave and the snatcher get away on his own why did he come back?

That's the way the crime sort of works. They circle back and the robber just makes it look like he is being picked up.

3) An intelligent person would notice how conveniently the giant grill blocked things.

an intelligent person would realize that this happens with many real crimes on video surveillance or even worse poorly maintained camera enclosures that allow bugs and spiders to build a nest/web and a serious crime being obscured by them yet captured in part on video.

4) An intelligent person would see obviously choreographed moves by both the snatcher and the snatchee.

Looked more spaztick to me than choreographed and not much different than things we have caught on cameras.

5) An intelligent person would know the source often passes off fakes as real.

yet also has real things.

6) An intelligent person who has owned a computer with an internet connection for longer than 20 seconds would view EVERY video of that nature as fake until proven otherwise.

and the angry feel everything on the internet is fake.

7) An intelligent person would find this link dumbass: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=258562284296108

About the only thing intelligent in your whole post, thank you for having no life and memorizing the internet for us busy folks.

There, now you know how angry I be!.

agreed

doubly so.

Are you always like this or is this just your anonymous Internet persona?

Fritzo asked to be enlightened. He was. If he wants me to pat him on the head, hand him a cookie and tell him he's a good little boy he should ask for that instead. See, when you act like a know-it-all, people generally get annoyed. You obviously knew something the rest of us didn't, and acted like said know-it-all. Therefore I asked you to share your information is a similar smarmy manner. I'm pretty much nice to everyone here, and I'm not sure why you're so incredibly angry that someone didn't know a realistic looking GIF randomly posted on a forum is indeed fake. Do you actually act and talk to people like this in real life? If so, you really have some issues going on there.
