The driver couldn't possibly have simply noticed the bike too late to stop or finish turning in and aborted, trying to get back in the moving traffic lane instead?

Check-out the white strip of his jogging suit/pants. When he's on the ground and sits upright, there is a kink or break in the line just above the knee. The guy pulls up on his leg right under the kink, and brings the line straight again. Looks like a fractured femur there.

Oh and I've seen the video, the car just keeps on going. Doesn't even attempt to stop. IIRC, the other guy on the motorcycle attempts to go after and catch up to him, but then the video ends.
