The chair in my office can be manipulated in quite a number of different ways. What each thing does isn't always intuitive.

There is tilt (freely moving), tilt lock, chair height, back rest height, locking back height, arm rest height, arm rest distance from seat, arm rest locks, seat distance from back, angle of back rest, back angle lock, and probably a few other things.

The the positioning of those are different on nearly every chair type we have.
