Also FAIL because it isn't only Southern states who complain about today's illegal immigrant problem and a full half of all slave ships came to Northern ports. Also, slavery existed in the North even though they has less use for them (primarily nannies and house-servants). For the longest time, they weren't "complaining" either.
WTF are you talking about? Northern slaves were mostly farm hands. They (or their kids) were emancipated in the years following the American Revolution, while their southern colleagues were kept in bondage. New York was the last northern state to emancipate the children of slaves, because it was a major farming state that relied on slave labor.
The south didn't emancipate their slaves & had to be defeated by the north before their slaves were freed. Of course, the blacks were soon put back under control.
The difference between the north and the south is that only the north realized that basing your society on equality and freedom, but basing your economy on slavery was unsustainably hypocritical and they actually freed their slaves. You're confusing the Colonial period with post revolution American History.
