I showed up at Ichinisan's just as you two were wrapping it up. I regret that I didn't get to play you. 🙁 I hear that you were using an XBOX 360 controller. If you'd like to try again, I'll use an XBOX 360 controller to keep things fair/equal. The D-pad does suck.

Being my twin bro, he got all his training off X-BAND too.

Anyway, what kind or tourney was it? Arcade? Who organized it and when?

Ichinisan won store champion at the Blockbuster Video World Videogame Championships II... after I was ahead through both of the previous two rounds. 😛

You could just stand around in an arcade WAITING for a decent player to walk in and play a few rounds...

OR

...you could play hundreds of rounds 24 hours a day, 7 days a week against equally-dedicated players who spend an equal amount of time getting hardened against each other.

I got owned, couldn't do any circle moves to save my life because of the floaty dpad. I'm going to try getting my ps3 controller working and give it another go. Will admit he's really good and probably better than I am, but my losses won't be nearly as embarrassing.

The thought of using that D-pad still makes me cringe. I'll PM.

OMG I remember that from these crazy science books as a kid. Anyone remember what they were called?
Explora.....something?

Dammit, I remember that thing.

- Agar gel, for growing samples of fun and potentially toxic things.
- Diffraction grating for colorful auras around lights.
- A full-page Fresnel lens, for burning things.

I remember a pinkish beige color on the front, a little spinny patterned plastic wheel riveted to it, and this guy.
