I didn't say anything about that for a good reason: The planet blew up. The weapon that did it may be responsible for that temperature. The ring was shown around the sun and then the sun disappeared, meaning it was clearly showing the sun being blown up. Clouds depicted in front of it are literal interpretations and so should the rest be.

So much fail here, I was in an AT&T store once and found someone logged into their FB accout on like a flip phone. It just amazed me that someone was so hard up to check their FB they had to sign in one some demo phone to check it.
