This thread has been lacking a bit lately, I'll dig around tomorrow and see if I can't find one or two things to get this baby back on track.

You're a fucking moron. It's understandable that everyone wont get 100% of the meme jokes on the internet, but who the fuck gets 10%?

Especially for someone that spends so much god damn time on the internet. For fucks sake, stop posting unfunny "i don't know my ass from my elbow" posts in this thread. At least contribute if you take up a third of the posts.

To be fair, I didn't get it either until I read someone say it later.

I am not so sure that is true for everyone. It is a very fine line between the two with lots of grey area. One person's poking fun at stereotypes is another person's racism. Senses of humor are not universal and we live in times such as we do. I would not be so quick to deem something not racist and merely making fun. I have see people get a lot more uppity for a lot less offensive stuff than is posted in this thread.

Jokes based on the stereotype that Jews are cheap can be funny. Saying that Jews are lesser human beings and evidence of that is that they are cheap is racism (or bigotry or anti-semitism).

People will disagree because, today, everyone gets offended if you even just mention someones race or religion, but it is, nonetheless, still true.

Also, I would like someone to point out a stereotype that is not based in fact (Hint: If there was no fact to back them up, then they probably would not have become a stereotype).

Certainly not everyone, some people get butt hurt over dumb things...until we can all learn to laugh at some of this crap we'll never get past it

Making fun of stereotypes is amusing, not racist...

Those pictures are not "making fun of stereotypes." They are simply using the stereotype. And I'm not butt hurt. I'm not angry about these instances of petty racism, just wondering if there is any actual humor I missed beyond the racist boundary pushing.
