Is this really pron though, by western standards? A quick Google didn't bring up anything that looked really X-rated. Not that I'd be surprised if it was.

Legally, that is considered porn. It has graphic images and explicit stories. Pornography of any kind is banned in India. Go to google's India website and search for porn or something explicit.. You will not see any graphic images.

I really don't understand why the govt is trying to impose all sorts of restrictions. It feels like we are taking one step forward and two steps back.

Even sale and use of sex toys is banned there.

Who needs sex toys when your gods have extra hands to play with and extra eyes to watch with?

It's sad how conservative Hinduism is. Would be a nice counterpoint to Islam if they were very open and Liberal but it's not, not as it's practiced anyway.
