I don't get it.

How do you not get it? People are consistently arguing that PC gaming is dead except that those stats basically prove that not only is it not dead, its thriving and basically close to twice as well as the same game on xbox 360 and nearly 3 times better than the same game on PS3.

My guess would be that he's unaware of the part in bold.

Actually, I just wasn't reading it right. I didn't realize that the bottom meant that the 69 million had been reached.

Of course, maybe that image just shows that PC gamers don't have lives :p

Well WOW and all of the WOW expansions have already proved that. However you see it though, MMO's have proved that not only isn't PC gaming anywhere close to dead - its quite a bit more lucrative to have a successful MMO than anything else in gaming. And anything else in the content world of media, for that matter.

Just wait until SW: The Old Republic is released next year, even people who have vehemently defied the MMO craze thus far may be converted.

Yeah, that's the one MMO I'm thinking about. If it lives up to the hype, it's going to be epic.

Gotta be honest, I don't care if that thing is welded to the wall with titanium, it's coming off the wall if my arm is trapped in there during a real fire.

From what I read in the picture it seems to me the device is attached to the person and the person can walk away but it has to be released by a fireman or police. It doesn't seem to me that the person is locked to the fire alarm.

If you meet people who own an Xbox 360, you'll see that they don't have lives either. Lining up to buy Gears 2? wtf? Why can't they just buy it after school or after work??
Lines for MGS4 as well.
