I admit I did it a few times. Nothing worse than taking a tape out of your car's deck and the tape is all stuck inside.

Yes, but how many of you used Scotch Tape to fix a broken cassette tape... and have to hit the 'play' or 'reverse' button when the taped tape tripped the autostop?

I was l33t and had a splicing kit from Radio Shack 🙂

I also remember hacking a cassette recorder to double as a vintage Echoplex guitar effect. You had to make a loop tape like so:

Back then, enthusiast groups were the Internet, so groups of geeks would get together at VFW halls and show each other how to hack off the shelf electronics to do your bidding. Kind of miss that.

She's not wearing a veil and is showing bare shoulders. That's pretty much porn over there 😀

When I was in Iraq, we used to buy bootleg DVD's off the locals for ~ $3 for a new release. I remember we watched the Sandler movie "Click", which had a scene with Kate Beckinsale in pajamas, showing bare legs. Probably wouldn't have raised an eyebrow anywhere in the US. But the arab version blurred out her legs.
