Wow, I think I speak for everyone when I say the "direction" he was going for was OLDER not more recent with TMI and something I wish i could now erase from my memory banks.

Hahaha

Sorry for the misinterpretation but does that mean I won by default?

You want retro? In my car I have to use one of these:

To make matters worse, the cassette player in my wife's car broke, so we cannot connect our iPhones to the stereo in any way right now. I suppose our only option would be one of these:

MotionMan

Every FM transmitter I've ever used has not produced desirable results.

Aww...I feel sad for the electronically challenged, makes me want to sell some of my spare equipment:'( That's if it was worth anything anymore...

im not challenged, just lazy, no real need to change out the factory 6 CD changer just so i can have an aux port to listen to internet radio, hell i drove a car for 2 years that didnt have a radio 100 miles each day for work. didnt really bother me enough to install one

😱

2 years x 100 miles a day with nothing but road noise😕

It took me 3 weeks to swap out the factory stereo in my new truck and I thought that was an eternity...that it took another 2 weeks to get the subs going was even worse🙁

I just couldn't imagine that much time without music in a car

Can anybody translate this so I can laugh?

"I'm going to go to Kingston and shop."
"I don't trust you enough..."
"You can trust me. You know my pum pum* is for you."
"Okay, here's $15,000" (about $180 USD)

Uses pum pum tracker to see gf's current location

She's in a different town, at another dude's house.

"FFFFUUUUUUUU"

*Look it up on urban dictionary if you can't guess from context.

OK...maybe I did pretty much get it and just wasn't sufficiently amused to laugh...maybe took too much brain power to figure out and I just like simple 😛

You still use an aux in? How retro of you...for us modern people we just have USB ports to plug devices directly in to...personally I prefer use flash drives but my wife just plugs her iPhone in😛

You know, that would be awesome, if USB would work with every device.
My new CD deck (last one didn't have a front aux in, but had a rear port - no usb though) has both aux and USB. My Zune HD and USB = nothing. And I don't keep a true MP3 collection on my phone. And I don't think USB plus Spotify or other similar services works out well enough.
That, and the DACs on smartphones tend to suck ass something fierce. my Zune HD sounds great in my truck. My Galaxy Nexus sounds like poop (some tweaks could help though)

I'm in the midst of a transition though. Trying to figure out just what I want to do about future music. I refuse to not have a subscription service, since most tracks I download I honestly don't care to buy. I like Zune Pass (old sub) since I also get 10 DRM-free song downloads (320kbps MP3 for almost everything). Hopefully this announcement at E3 proves to be a true open platform approach to Zune.
It will be awesomesauce if I get to keep the old subscription AND use they open it up to Android.
I'm dreaming though - Microsoft are retards at times. They'll keep my money even if I stop using Zune hardware, if they make the right move.
