In my experience knives don't produce that effect. There's more 'pants shid' involved generally.

I think thicc boy knew he wasn't outrunning a thinner looking crazy person, not that he had a lot of time to think about it.

I think the wielder picked the wrong guy to attack, even armed with a blade. Maybe if he had a gun he'd have been more successful...

When I first saw this a day or two ago (on reddit, iirc), it stated that the big guy is a former MMA fighter. It'd explain how he took him down so deftly and kept him controlled once on the ground.
