Thank you, I will never be able to eat snickers again.
I wonder if a good way to handle Wendy's doing this would be to for plenty of people to queue at rush hour, get all the way to the front of the queue and then say that the inflated price is too high. It would discourage more people from buying there because of the queue and waste the corporation's time.
It feels like Wendy's is testing the waters, so to speak. Without the intense public backlash, do you think they'd have walked this back?
Could be a, 'We'll take it back for now...but it's coming eventually' moment.
Good ol' capitalism.
Turns out Wendy's was talking about getting updated digital menu boards so they could test out dynamic pricing. They clarified that they meant that they would lower prices during slower times, not raise prices during rushes. It's basically digital coupons without the coupons, and better flexibility.I wonder if a good way to handle Wendy's doing this would be to for plenty of people to queue at rush hour, get all the way to the front of the queue and then say that the inflated price is too high. As other people have said online, if Wendy's turns a profit with their tactic, then they won't be the last to use it.
Drunky McFuck Face got starched.
