Sports in general would be more exciting if the winner at the end of the season kept their title. If you win the Superbowl or the World Series...SO WHAT? Next year everything resets. None of it matters.

The excitement of winning it as an athlete X years ago wains anyway. Fresh wins, like multiple wins are better. Team personnel changes year to year too.

What really is technically a waste of time are the many games before playoffs (ie. MLB, NHL, NBA).

it's all good, they had masks and gloves and that was distilled water.

I thought distilled water could still conduct, just not as much as tap or rainwater (plenty of ions there). Wouldn't even a small amount of conductivity be a risk to a farm of expensive rigs all full of exposed soldered components? I would have thought so, but that clip kinda proves me wrong. Those LEDs are on. I wonder if that kind of cleaning requires any specific protections, like is anything coated with a grease inside? Hardened devices or plain vanilla? Fans handle it alright I guess?

Seems like an unlikely place for covid to be lurking, and every NOC I've ever visited was colder than a witch's tit in a brass bra, plus lots of air flow. All clean really should mean all clean though I guess, and those guys aren't playin. I presume the clip's creator assumed they were using isopropyl alcohol, or something similar. Distilled water does sound like a bit of a weak covid sanitizer.

Security theatre. They want to show people they're doing *something*, whether it makes sense or not. That is one of the dumber examples I've seen though.

They're imgur links. Perhaps NoScript is blocking something. Imgur's turned into a js shitshow over the years.

They work fine for me and others, think it's just you. Your browser or extension blocking something maybe?

Yes others can see them, so guess I have some troubleshooting to do.
