Indeed. I was on a conference call once while multitasking trying to stuff a cat into a carrier. The cat had other plans that day and bit through a pair of leather gloves and ripped open my finger. People on the call heard, "Wait, he's biting. No, he hasn't let go yet. He's through the glove. Okay, he let go. Yeah, lot's of blood. Um, I have to drop off the call for a couple minutes, be back." I got the wound cleaned up and got back on the call. People were still howling.

Amateur cat.
I had a rose point siamese named Jaws who could launch from the floor to my shoulder, and he landed in a vice-grip soft paw with no claws. That was all good, until I would come home at night and he would drop down on my shoulder from the carport rafters. The first few times were a bit of a shock!
