I would not be surprised if blue car's driver then try to claim the red car he reversed into rear-ended the blue car. The legal default is that the person behind is always at fault. With no dashcam....the company is going to settle in favor of the blue car.

Depends on the cop at the scene (assuming they called one) .... they can tell by tire marks who hit who most of the time. Question is will they check AND then write it in the report... you need both.

It is a big YMMV. A lot of cops don't give a damn and just wing it in a manner most convenient. Witness reliability is also another factor. The witnesses may be objective...or they report based on their biases and poor memories.

uh guys, it's a drag race/public street race. Like, 200 witnesses there. I don't think this will be an issue, lol. And, the video is also available. Obviously.

We are watching it, no?

What was he doing? A low altitude figure 8, in a f*cking B52!! 3 souls, plus his own. Freaking waste.
The Co attempted to punch out, but the seats are too slow. Other 3 never pulled their handles.

Wiki has a lot to say on the event. Seems the post-crash-investigation verdict was that the pilot had a bit of a track-record for reckless dare-devil behaviour.

This bit seemed particularly striking

On 10 March 1994, Holland commanded a single-aircraft training mission to the Yakima Bombing Range, to provide an authorized photographer an opportunity to document the aircraft as it dropped training munitions. The minimum aircraft altitude permitted for that area was 500 feet (150 m) AGL; during the mission, Holland's aircraft was filmed crossing one ridgeline about 30 feet (10 m) above the ground. Fearing for their safety, the photography crew ceased filming and took cover as Holland's aircraft again passed low over the ground, this time estimated as clearing the ridgeline by only three feet (1 m). The co-pilot on Holland's aircraft testified that he grabbed the controls to prevent Holland from flying the aircraft into the ridge while the aircraft's other two aircrew members repeatedly screamed at Holland: "Climb! Climb!" Holland responded by laughing and calling one of the crew members "a pussy".[2]

After that mission, the crew decided that they would never again fly with Holland and reported the incident to the bomb squadron leadership. The USAF squadron commander, Lieutenant Colonel Mark McGeehan, reported the incident to Pellerin and recommended that Holland be removed from flying duty. Pellerin consulted with Holland and gave him an oral reprimand and warning not to repeat the behavior, but refused to take him off flying duty. Pellerin also did not document the incident or the reprimand, nor did he notify his superiors, who remained unaware of the incident. McGeehan then decided that in order to protect his aircrews, he (McGeehan) would be the co-pilot on any future missions in which Holland was the command pilot. Evidence suggests that after this incident, "considerable animosity" existed between Holland and McGeehan.[14][15]

It was planned. Always ask yourself, #whyweretheyfilming

As skyking mentioned, things go bad when the cameras are rolling all the time.

There is simply no reason to pull off a change of course like that with such proximity with other aircraft, at that speed; none. This wasn't a ThunderBirds demo, it was a dick waving stunt that almost got people killed. F-15s aren't cheap, and neither is the amount of time, money and fuel invested in combat training. If he didn't catch a fist to the face, he should have.

Remember what Chuck Yeager had to say on the subject of "old pilots" vs "bold pilots"!

There's no shoulder to pull over on at 36000 feet!

Oddly enough, I always hear that quote not in the voice of Chuck Yeager, but inthe rather less manly tones of Michael Crawford as Frank Spencer. I first heard that line in an episode of "Some Mothers Do 'ave 'em" (where Frank tries to learn to fly).
