And while I do carry two phones at work or when I'm on call, I have also done exactly that when I only carried one phone and it was in fact left behind somewhere. 😉

Depending on what you use for texting, you might be able to text from a computer or another device. That's what I did before - texted from my PC asking if I left my phone.

Long ago I heard that attributed to Winston Churchill (talking to Lady Astor), but it seems like it predates them, as a fact-checking site says it found the joke appearing in print in the late 19th century, long before Churchill could have met Astor. I wonder just how long people have been telling that joke?
