I had to change foyer lighting in our old house and the only way we were able to do it was rent some scaffolding.... and then put our small ladder on top of the scaffold even

Stupid ass CFL bulbs, made sure to put in LEDs so we didn't have to do that again anytime soon.

Yeah, I had that too...had to buy a $250 ladder to change a lightbulb on our staircase. Most expensive lightbulb ever

I rented the scaffold from HomeDepot, I think maybe after taxes and stuff it was about... $50?

It was an ugly builders-grade light too - but we used it daily as the "night light" of the house. Ended up replacing it with a better chandelier and put in LED bulbs.


I'm thankful that in our new house I can easily grab the chandelier if I need to change a bulb or something.
