3rd world problems - of their own making. More problems than tv shows us.

The feather ninja kick...

How do I make that video start at 30 sec?
The way he backed into the runner's path was unconventional, but was advantageous in that he didn't look confrontational or threatening to the fugitive.

I don't know about other platforms, but if you are viewing on a desktop, click the "Share" link under the video, then check the box that says "Start at" and then enter the time, or you can pause the video at the time you want and then click share and check that box -- copy the link after that.

Yup, ALON is the shit, that company is going places. Think of what that means in weight savings alone, throughout the military. Being transparent at the same time, wow. Chinese are probably working double time to steal it. I wonder what the production cost is compared to synthetic sapphire, because I think it's really close on the Mohs scale. Either one will probably be great for a cel phone.

Thanks. Pulled it off of a news feed. youtube sure makes it easier.

I think a "Yeah Science, Bitch!" is appropriate for this one.
Things you didn't know thread too. Swiped from reddit...
It's a freestanding dipole antenna (the tower itself is insulated against ground and used as an antenna), and these semi-suicidal youths are using grass (and their bodies) to short it to ground.

The large voltage differential between Tha blade of grass and the tower causes arcing, which in turn causes plasma to form. This plasma vibrates in time with the radio signal's intensity.

So basically they built a super low tech plasma speaker that works on any high powered radio transmitter, but only if you stand far too close for comfort.
