Also, I've never swum in an ocean, but I have swum in several different seas. How many seas equals an ocean? It should be permissible to trade in several seas for one ocean, I feel. It's hard to get to an ocean from here - too many seas in the way.

That's just getting pedantic. Most seas can really fall under the connected ocean, unless we are talking about something like the Caspian Sea, which is where pedantic definitions might come into play. The Black Sea would be a stretch, the Mediterranean Sea would be less of a stretch, while the Caribbean Sea, Arabian Sea, Sea of Japan, Philippine Sea, South China Sea, etc... if you set foot in those waters I'd say you swam in an ocean.

The plane crashed in an estuary of a river. Both occupants died in the crash. A video of the accident was posted online. The aircraft was seen to be flying very low of the river
followed by a steep climb. It entered a descending left-hand turn until the left wing dropped and the pilot lost control. The aircraft impacted the water.
