To go with that, I'm envisioning a mounted robotic device with near 360 degree angle of attack to generate blasts of air/sound and low velocity paint ball hits, to represent concussive force and projectile hits respectively.

Nothing new. At this point I find it difficult to believe anyone would care to do the photoshop work unless Disney pays them to do it - which Disney probably does because they must keep the culture phenomenon going if they want the Star Wars investment to pay off.
