I never understand why people use Chase, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, or Citi for general banking. Blows my mind. People are absolutely retarded.

Don't get me wrong, I have a bank of america account that I use for small tasks occasionally, but it's not my main account - it's just something I hang on to in case for some reason I desperately need cash. Majority of my stuff is done with credit unions and online banks for max interest income.

The reason you use a national bank is because of convenience. You basically admitted it too. Responsible people have nothing to worry about as far as fees. Which, by the way, you're subject to when you can't find your bank while away from your home area.

As for interest, you "max" that by using something other than a checking or savings account. Already, a CD is DOUBLE the rate with no risk.
