I heard 2 different stories, one was the mother heartbroken after baby died, only for the baby to recover a couple minutes later, the other was the baby had tripped and the mother caught him.

I heard that polar bears have no fear of humans and a hungry one would try to eat a human without hesitation. Not sure how true that is.
