It's because the shark is relaxed and just checking them out. When it's go time they swim different, have a different posture. Some of these sharks actually want to be petted and scratched, they love it. Not sure if that applies to the whites, would definitely take gigantic balls to touch a behemoth like that. The 6ft blacktip is more my speed.

If that big girl was agitated I'm pretty sure that cage would be at the surface with no one outside of it. They'd have ditched the hose and gone to snorkel so they could hop out quick if in need.
