I wonder if it's possible to hijack the pairing system and rickroll the victim; or maybe you're on a train with a load of AirPod users and hijack the whole lot to play your choice of music publicly and ramp up the volume :)
This is a stupid question since I'm sure the wireless connection scheme is proprietary but can't you just use normal bluetooth headphones? I mean even Apple has to subscribe to the BT standard, don't they? Or do people just figure that they HAVE to buy Apple branded shit for their phones?

This never occurred to me until I saw the pic:

Doesn't make sense. Apple Pay on the device is not for receiving payments. Square and others have been giving out Apple Pay compatible readers for a long time now. None of them use the headphone jack that I've seen.

It's made to sound like they think the are simply stick on tattoos and not know what they actually are.

It's a fun on words by them being ignorant of what they have and what they "think" they have.
Doesn't work because "having some fun tonight" seems to imply they plan to deliberately get high.

The problem is that for most "Christians against Drugs" types, having a diet pepsi and giggling about some fake tattoos actually qualifies as an entertaining night in.

wow, is this real? will the motion and vibration of the car will it even work? CDs skipping was a real problem in the 90s, i don't see how the pin could stay on the threads in a moving car
I don't think that was meant for use on-road. I think the real issue would be whether or not your banging around in the back seat would move the needle.

In those days, car trunks could hold enough for a 5-couple picnic.
Just drive to the beach and lay out a nice blanket on the sand.
