You know, when I was a fire fighter explorer I was told AND READ that the biggest skill you need to become a firefighter was common sense. Clearly, these idiots should not be fire fighters.

What the hell country was that anyway? I'm thinking somewhere in the Baltics?

Friend of mine's wife actually did that when he was out of town. "The detector keeps going off in the baby's room so I took the batteries out." He had to call 911 because she wouldn't.
