Pretty much everything you see there can be done with a single computer and emulators.

A real project would be to paint the room black, set up a big screen and a projector & make a little movie theater for yourself. Get some powerful speakers and recliners for the full experience.

One day, I'm gonna do that. And it will be awesome.

We should start measuring efficiency in terms of weight... One of those CRTs probably weighs many times that of the computer and monitor that can do the emulation et al. Not to mention all the lead in those things...

That honestly wouldn't be too hard or expensive to put that together. Time consuming though. I would rather have all harnessed on 1 box for a big screen TV with some nice furniture...looks like a dump TBH.
