Probably the fact that a game in alpha (or beta? not sure) is being sold on store shelves. Then again, there's EA, so yeah.

That's the latest trend. Go check out Steam- there's a ton of "early access" games available. You pay the devs to work on it and get all the bugs fixed.

Includes free upgrade to the full game.

In principle like a great business model: Open at $7 for alpha, then charge $14 at the beta stage, then at full charge $28 and never go down from that. This rewards people for being early adopters, which is exactly the group of people that drive the big sales....

As opposed to just mindlessly following the market skimming direction that the big-houses use to exploit those that get hyped up.

That said, the price is a little high... but this game is also DRM free.

Hm, right.

I wonder though how many will forget that they paid for that by the time the game comes out, now that they have, as chimaxi83 said, paid for the beta version.

I just watched through all the Final Destination movies (love the creative death sequences), and this would fit right in
In fact, I would probably call bullshit on the rock moving at that speed from so far away

Goes to show sometimes reality does beat fiction

While I can't argue with that, after looking at that a few more times I'm pretty sure that it's fake. The footage was of a crowd reacting to something (a less obvious ricochet, a concussion wave, another explosion, etc) but the trajectory of the rock's entrance is all wrong and where it passes the guys arm looks pretty fishy. I'd bet on it being bogus and think your initial observation/intuition was correct.

I'm pretty sure it's real after watching the full video, although that gif makes the rock look a lot bigger.

I've seen a "line drive" mistake from a shaped charge. Looked like that, only it was as big as your head. luckily it hit the slope below us.

60*24*7 = 10080.

OK, so, 77,639 / 10080 = 7.7 per minute.

I think thats doable but how the hell did she ever sleep? Or eat?
OR POOP!?!?

You're not accounting for the..

1,937 emails
41,229 txt messages
217 sung messages
647 letters

during the same week. So either this story is BS (likely) or she somehow managed a 4chan style raid on his number. All of this time is not taking into consideration how much time it takes to send an email, send a text, leave a message (sung at that,) and write / send letters.

FWIW, after the first hour of this onslaught my phone would be turned off, so all the individual calls would never be reported. Again, BS.
