I think fresh asphalt is generally perfectly fine to drive on.

Was it before or after compacting?

It was still being compacted. I think they were close to being done because I didn't see a big difference in elevation between the open and closed lane, maybe an inch or two. I like to think the rollers flattened any marks I left out. Good/bad thing is that I belonged to the owner paying for that work and road -- never heard anything about it.

I remember the last time I wore assless chaps.

I was headed to my nearest ATM machine to input my PIN number. Unfortunately the LAN network was down due to a failed cyclic CRC check. Luckily the PoE ethernet device was able to bring up the internet IP protocol, even though the direct DC current adapter failed to power the PoE. I guess I should have counted my lucky stars the UPS provided an uninterrupted power supply to the alternating AC transformer which backed up the WAN area network. From there it went to the DNS name server across quite a few hyper HTTP protocol bridges to finally give me my cash money.

I then bought a semi-automatic machine gun rifle and used it to fire cartridge shells near the redundancy department to only end up with a minor fee of misdemeanor criminal unlicensed firearm discharge fine.

It was a long day, but damn I looked good in those chaps.

Well, these guys are used to hunt lions (or were, including other big game) and they can look pretty ferocious, but my guy is 115 pounds and a giant wuss, loves to snuggle like he's 15 pounds.
