Yea it was a good joke. The few first posters didn't think it was funny because the joke wasn't on Jesus that time. Otherwise they'd be all for it.

There are about 15M 'Jesus saves' jokes, of which this is one of the better known ones. Usually it's Jesus vs Bill Gates or something.

When you know the punch line after the first line of the joke it's not much fun anymore.
