'Jesus Hates Obama' Super Bowl Ad Pulled

They just want to make money. They don't hate Obama and they don't think Jesus hates Obama either. What is wrong with using hate or the fact that stupid people might take it more seriously. The only real goal in life worth anything is making money, right? I see nothing wrong with this......

from the point of view of a pus sack.

an add, on its face, that would anger both religious zealots and obama supporters? yeah, i think they made the right choice.

Good, who needs this inflammatory rhetoric. Let the nutters find another forum for their hate speech.

If someone believes Jesus hates anyone then they don't understand what Jesus is about.

EDIT: Unless they believe in Jeezus.

If I were a conspiracy theorist I might wonder about a black Democrat not getting harrassed by the media as much as a white Republican.

Then I remember the white Republican was stupid AND evil while the Democrat is just evil. So its not a big surprise the media has been kinder to him.

I guess coming from Denmark you wouldnt know, but trust me, it has EVERYTHING to do with U.S Politics. Which is funny cuz our constitution supposedly prevents that.
Whatever.

It has everything to do with it because a whole lot of people in the United States are Christian. Nothing in the constitution bans people from being Christian. Now extrapolate that one out.

Easy.
You just made a bullshit statement based in about 3 forms of logical fallacy.

Next?

You confused the European. This one has no idea about the separation of church and state. In fact, they believe in the opposite.

Their government officially sponsors this mythical tale and even forces an entire family to believe in one particular mythical tale. It's disgusting and barbaric, but what else can you expect from Europe these days?

That's actually pretty hilarious and I wish they had let it run. I would love to see the reaction of everyone in the room after a commercial like that is over. Hilarity? Hysteria? Confusion? More beer please?

Conservative comedians really have a lot of trouble being funny to anyone but themselves.

Most jokes are about someone in power and someone not.

"conservative humor" generally has a cruel streak
The punchline is usually how incompetent/stupid/dead someone is/has became.

The other humor usually involves "the little guy" getting away with challenging the status quo in spite of great odds.
The punchline usually involves how funny it is to get away with justice served

Most people love to see the little guy win, where the other humor just comes off a cruel and unfunny
Topics such as revenge and having a ax to grind isnt a humorous thing to many people. (well, those of us not sociopaths)

Hey, why not throw a cartoon of the Prophet Mohammed on there. It's just a joke so it makes it alright! Chill out, so what if there are people out there who are willing to go nuts/kill over that.

These Christians and their commercials are so quaint. Don't they know that you don't get any respect unless you decapitate people and blow people up over cartoons?
