I'm surprised no one has commented on the fact that rejoyced isn't a word yet!

Rejoiced is! 😛

I was going to point that out too but I hadn't "risen" in time today. Too much partying last night.

Speaking of Joyce she was pretty hot in 3s company.

/cue 3s company theme song...

Have you heard the good news? They found the body so they can cancel the holiday. Everybody back to work. 😛

Rotflmao, now if only I could find an open bar room, with all the irish catholic Bostonians who hate their families you'd think this would be easy.😛

*sigh*

All you blissfully ignorant celebratory sheep almost make me wish I believed in all that bullshit. I'll worry about the next life when I reach it. You can waste your time in this dimensional existence, but I'll be calling my own shots.

Cheers all the same. Enjoy your beliefs - I'll enjoy mine.

Yay for imaginery beings!

Actually, the fact that Jesus walked the Earth is pretty much 100% true. There are many records that prove his existance. That's about as true as it gets though, as he did not have super powers and all that other biblical stuff.

Actually no intellegent person can claim that Jesus was imaginary.

You may doubt the entire resurection but the Fact that Crist walked the earth is FACT
I can believe that he might have walked the Earth. I don't beleive he was resurrected or that he was the son of God. That's just crap in my book!

: ) Amanda

You're just crap in MY book

I believe that disrespecting another person's religious beliefs is the same kind of intolerance as being racist. Always nice to see the hateful bigots reveal themselves.

My 2 cents worth about organized religion & me...

I'm not a devout religious person, however, I go to/participate in church for my children. (2 daughters, 11 & 14).

1.) If We (wife & I) don't make the effort to provide them a church home, they will find their own or none @ all. (In central TX, some churches are very aggressive about sending kids out to recruit other kids to their church).

2.) Organized religion is certainly not the only way to worship, but it's the major way in our country/culture (I have my doubts that Jesus would approve of what some churches have become, he'd probably trash a lot of them physically as he did prior to his crucification). I strongly suspect, as do some biblical scholars that Jesus message was for people to move away form the organized church all-together, there's a huge chunk of his life missing from the bible, they suspect much of his life was removed to make the gospels more palatable to organized religion.

3.) Organized churches try to do good, they may not accomplish it 100% of the time but they try.

4.) We joined a church today, my 7th, Wife's 3rd, 14 y/o's 6th (She's been baptized 3 times now), and 11 y/o's 3rd (we've moved around a bit & checked out churches in each location, most were not a good fit for us.

Happy Easter;easter egg emoticon;

You mean the same kind of tolerance believers bestow upon nonbelievers?
