?I believe as a churchgoing person, anyone can benefit from hearing the words of the Bible,? said Michael La Roe, director of business development for Valencia-based Beverly Hills Teddy Bear Co. and its one2believe division, which makes the line of Bible character dolls.
No kidding, he thinks anyone can benefit from hearing what he believes in. He's not biased in any way.

Those are crappy gifts, no matter what your religion. Nothing says "fun" like quotes from the bible. Good call.

lol - exactly - here's what the fscking brainwashing dolls say:

"According to one2believe?s Web site, the button-activated, bearded Jesus doll recites Scripture such as ?I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again?

Well, I'm won't be giving to Toys for Tots this Christmas season like I have in the past. I'll find another organization who isn't sucking up to the PCers in the country.

So do you believe they should only bring happiness to the lives of little Christian kids, not to the unfortunate who do not share your beliefs?

Christian kids get toys from that program too don't they? Why turn down a donation that some kids would like. No one forces a kid to take a religious toy. There are tons of non-religious toys available.

So not giving a Jesus doll that has a recorded voice telling you to be Christian to a possibly Muslim or Jewish or non-religous child is being PC? Surely you have better critical thinking skills than that.

Look up, it's the Child's Play sticky -- help sick kids feel better while they're in the hospital.

Mario Kart is 100% Devil-free :)

If you would have read the article, you would see that they have no way of knowing which kid is going to get which toy.

Good job, Toys for Tots. Now, give Jesus a kung-fu grip, and maybe super-punching action, then I'd be in for one!

Christian kid would want it because he likes Jesus.
Muslim kid would like it because it can be used to burn in effigy.
Jewish kids...aren't poor so it's irrelevant.

So a boy can get a girl's toy?

They could leave these toy's unwrapped so the child knows what he/she is getting. I still say they shouldn't turn down donations.

They have no way of knowing what religion the kid is - they just get the toys at random based on their age group. Again - why do you only care about the Christian children?

What the hell is a poor jewish boy going to do when he gets a Jesus doll for Christmas?

How will a muslim boy react when his action figure tell him to accept Jesus Christ as his personal savior?

And what the hell are the Jewish and Muslim boys getting Christmas gifts for?

Yep, same premise.
