hmm. Havent seen the movie. The book was ok though.

ugh, those goddamn twins in the hallway in the movie scarred me for life (old lady in the tub didn't help either)

It has it's moments, like Gage or whatever that kid's name was coming back from the dead. The only Stephen King movie that sort of scared me was IT. I haven't seen the Shining all the way yet.

That scene freaked me out.

how do the girls die?
what happens between the 2nd and 3rd pic?

Crazed father, an axe, mess in the hall.

I don't recall any details of it, just the picks. What makes the scene so freaky is that already things are happening and a sense of doom has built up quite a bit. Finding 2 girls in the hall is freaky simply because there is no way they should be there and they seem odd.

You must see the movie, it is a great film.

never read the book

didnt care for the movie but im not big on horror flicks.

Interesting a book can be scary (I'd think more like creepy).

You can watch an entire horror flick on mute and you would not be "scared" one bit. It's the damned sound that gets you (at the same time something appears on screen).
