I need it for an Illustrator project

Is this a school/work project or a I'm bored project. Just curious. Carry on.

It's a bit of both.

I'm in good with my academic advisor/instructor for most of my classes, and he likes it when his senior students sit in on his classes to help raise the bar for the other students.

I get the benefit of showing off and taking a class for absolutely free, he gets the benefit of seeing his students work harder and harder each quarter.

So I'm not required to do this project, but it's kinda fun.

(ps: updated earlier today)

doing this with a mouse as opposed to a wacom, I take it?

work on your edges. you're also going to want to do something to give the skin some texture.

yeah, I've been dying to get my hands on a wacom, but a mouse will have to do.

I keep jumping back and forth between adding new pieces, working on the hair and making the blends piece together more smoothly. I hate how the eyedropper tool only picks up the color of the closest node on a gradient mesh... it would be so much easier if it would pick up exact colors.... maybe there is a setting that I missed, though.

Skin texture usually comes last for me because it usually works out better doing it in one piece as a pattern. She seems to be light on the makeup/airbrushing in this picture though, so it might be a little bit harder.

It IS vector graphics, so that makes it a bit easier. I dunno if I could possibly do something this good in photoshop this fast with only a mouse.

Lookin nice. I hate working on vector pics, but you don't even have a graphics tablet! Go buy one asap! It's the best investment you will ever make (as far as digital art goes anywhom).

My friend did these in Photoshop with a mouse. I think it took him a day or two to do them. Its definitely possible. The program doesnt make the artist.

Winner!

2124 x 2600 and almost all face and boobies :D

what the hell is wrong with her nose?

???

She just has a button nose. It doesn't stick out far on the bridge... that or the lighting is really bright.

I am talking about the skin... it looks like it has cracks on it.

Wow, you're really used to super-airbrushed pictures, eh?

yea no kidding. you should see high res of older actresses. the horror...
