I never said it was hundred of people a minute. I said he did well enough.
Much as it bothers me its actually a solid argument against civilians owning assault rifles.

More people die from falling down the stairs than from mass shootings by assault rifles. We don't 'need' stairs so why do we continue to subject our citizens to the horrors of these terror weapons? Even more insidious - they dis-proportionally target the elderly and the young!

He is technically right. It could shoot down a plane. But still silly reasoning.

Right up there with, "I could bring down a plane with siren." or "I could bring down a plane with frozen chicken gun {ala mythbusters.}

IE siren scaring all the geese and making them fly in to the path of the plane and the chicken gun because... well... shooting the chicken in to the engine intakes. Could being the operative word also. I could also be the next pope. We have to work odds here.

Maybe we need to force people to use a harness arrangement a la OSHA to protect them when walking up and down stairs.

If we can save the life of just one person by making them use this simple, very expensive and time consuming system before walking up and down stairs it would all be worth it.
It's for everyone, not just the children.

Let's see..

Holmes had an AR15, a shotgun, and a pistol. Of the 3, the shotgun is the most dangerous weapon and none of them are capable of putting much of a dent in an airplane. Okay maybe the shotgun if it was capable of shooting a 3.5 inch magnum slug at close range could poke a hole. But I think he had a normal remington 870 so that would be a no go. The slug might crack the windshield though from that shotgun.

Seriously the stupid of anti gun advocates is astounding. And they try to talk as if their stupidity is "reasonable" and "sensible" for everyone else.

Theres a saying "A lie is as good as the truth if you can get people to believe it."

Seen a lot of that around.

It could shoot down the plane the Wright Brothers flew. It wouldn't put a ding in a modern airliner.

Want to know HOW I know this specifically? Because they test SPECIFICALLY for this event. Too many idiots in the middle east like to take pop shots with their AR's and AK's at passing planes. I shit you not.

So there was a HUGE test done long ago to see the effectiveness of bullets able to even scratch a modern airliner. Unless you are shooting bullets the size of a softball it ain't going to take down a modern airliner.

Fucking stupid shit like what you just said perpetuates the myth.

I agree, He has no intellectual capability and is a complete moron. Most of his views aren't even based on facts, He is just garbage.

Unfortunately a lot of people who can't figure a 15% tip on $50 in their head no matter how much time they have to do it follow him. And sometimes they even vote.

You could much easier taken down an airplane by breeding geese than by owning an AR-15.

Well trained kamikaze geese, that do not fear hawk or wolf, pose the greatest threat to national security. Greater than Al-Qaeda, the NRA, or Christopher Dorner.

I propose a ban on assault geese. Any geese seen flying in what could be construed as an "attack formation" will have their flight-paths traced to their origin and the owner will be brought to justice. We realize this may well lead to an invasion of Canada, but if it saves one life, it's worth it!

Jesse needs to ask his armed security guards before opening his mouth.
