Clear Channel Signs Jesse Jackson to Host Sunday Radio Talk Show

"If you look at the average talk show, there are not any people of color," Jackson said in an interview yesterday. "We have thoughts, we have ideas, votes and interests. This gives us a chance to communicate with a broader national audience." He previously hosted a weekly talk show for CNN, "Both Sides With Jesse Jackson," which ran from 1992 to 2001.

I guess I didn't realize his show on CNN lasted that long. Maybe he has a shot with this radio gig.

He made a fortune from a beer distributership in Chicago that his father got for him by threatening Anheuser-Busch with a boycott.

Maybe that will be another media outlet for him.
